I've been in this place a couple of times and find the food to be of a good quality. The breakfasts are good (not greasy) and the lunchtime menu has plenty of food choice, I particularily like the homemade scouse.

I've knocked one star off for the miserable girl who works in there who I'm sure is the owners daughter, service without a smile is an understatement. She just drops the plate infront of you and then skulks off.

Ordered soup, sandwich and tea.  The soup was out of a tin, mine full of sugar and my mother's too salty.  The bread was dry.  The 2 decaf teas were made very quickly at the counter, basically involving hot water poured onto tea bags in cups and squeezed, resulting in 2 cups of absolutely tasteless tea.  No menu on tables.  The crockery is ancient and clearly well past the time when they should have been disposed of.  We will not be returning and cannot recommend.

Decided to go here for breakfast today, one of my friends decided on a mega breakfast, only noticing the mould on the toast towards the end of the meal, which prompted me to check mine, unsurprisingly it was on mine too, now unfortunately our other friend of whom is pregnant she had already eaten her toast before finding out. When our friend told of the mould on her toast to the blondish woman behind the counter she didn't receive an apology, refund or nothing, just a sharp "I'll let her know" referring to the dark haired woman in the kitchen of whom I would presume is the cook. When I had told of the mould to the blondish middle aged woman behind the counter, she abruptly said "yes I know the other one said about it" then sarcastically said "sorry" & walked off with the plates, no refund or replacement, not that I would of accepted a replacement but the offer wouldn't of gone a miss. Poor customer service skills completely.
The food in all honesty wasn't all that bad but the toast & customer service was ridiculous, they hardly kept the fact of buying reduced bread a secret whilst having it sat on the serving window with a big bright  yellow reduced sticker on it.
Will not be going here ever again that's for sure
